The Ageless formed in 2009. Since then, we have been writing original songs and putting our own stamp on a few covers.
Our musical style is hard to define. We call it eclectic. That means no one in the band can agree on a specific genre. So we pound our chests and shout, "The Ageless will, make that shall, not be genre-fied."
What are our influences, you ask? Rock, metal, Indie, blues, bluegrass, green grass, Ska, punk, Finnish folk punk, Icelandic yodeling, Norwegian love moans, crabcore, lobstercore, actually anything with the suffix -core, Batman and large sea monsters waiting to be released.
The Ageless has a cool and ever-improving light show with lasers, strobes and mystic fog provided by Nu Nu. If you want to know more about Nu Nu, signup for our email list and we will send you her personal history (although Jen claims Nu Nu is a he).
The Ageless met while they were in high schools near Columbus, Ohio. Some members have yet to graduate. This is not due to a lack of trying.
Here's everything and more you need to know about The Ageless:

Alex Willard plays lead guitar, violin, mandolin and trombolin. Actually, Alex plays trombone. There is no such thing as a trombolin. Someday Alex would like to settle down with a nice girl named Lynn.
Andrew Willard plays keyboards, synthesizer, vocodor and sings. The mad scientist of the band, Andrew loves to spend hours in the music lab playing with lights, sound equipment, fog machines, lasers, strobes, tasers.
Jen Porter sings, plays rhythm guitar and sings. Oops, we already mentioned that. She is also the lyricist. Sometimes Jen honks when she laughs. Don't ask. The Ageless are like big and little brothers to Jen, which means they are allowed to pick on her, but everyone else must demonstrate the requisite respect. So please stop throwing articles of clothing on the stage, guys!
The Crew: The Ageless are fortunate to have great friends who have always been there for the band.
Seth Anderson plays bass and likes to choreograph complicated hair dance moves. He is proud to be hirsute. Seth specializes in over-the-head, behind the back, bass-playing fu. Although a controversial stand, Seth is pro-groupie. So ladies, ignore the warning issued to guys above.
Derek Rassmussen plays drums. All the time. He drums when he's awake. He sleepdrums. Warning: It is dangerous to awaken someone when they are sleepdrumming. We're not saying Derek's obsessed with drums, but some music stores have issued TRO's against him.
Nakita Caston is the band's photographer, videographer, and webtaskmaster. She is so good with a camera that she actually makes The Ageless look cool. Well, sometimes.
Anna Schnitkey is our communications wizard. She keeps our fans informed about upcoming concerts, discount tickets, merchandise sales and more through our webpage, Facebook and Myspace. Anna has been known to dress up like a bird. She also runs lights and sound when J-Glo-Wack is busy patroling the mosh pit. She has a secret crush on Nu Nu regardless of gender.
Jacob Glowacki is chef, roadie, lights and sound technician and security guard. Jacob keeps The Ageless in line, which is no small task. Like many musicians, the members like to goof off and daydream. Jacob employs head-knocking and choking skills to punish any artist that disrupts practice, especially Alex. The band loves Jacob. Yes, he is sadistic, but he has a tender side.
Jake Somerot is the band's designated ranter. He likes to wax poetic while wearing the Caped Crusader's mask. He sounds like Christian Bale and dresses like Mr. Christian. Jake is on a mission to save the world from capitalistic pizza. Someday Jake wants to run his own philosophy kiosk in Hyde Park.
Maddie Dildine is a roadie and all aroud band-aid. She struggles to stay awake at band practice. Maddie is a dancer and would like the band to funk it up a little more often. MD is normal, which makes her abnormal in this group.
Jessica Willard is also a roadie and all around band-aid. Jessica rocks out on the Ukulele. She also plays the role of adorable, but annoying little sister at times. Here she is listening to her favorite band: Twenty-One Pilots.
